Procreate is an amazing tool that can be utilized for designing, sketching, taking notes, and more. One of my absolute favorite things to do in my spare time is learn new tricks on Procreate. I will sit on my couch for hours and watch videos to try to learn more about the app. It is an awesome tool once you get the hang of it, but very complicated as you begin.
Here are some of my favorite basic tips and tricks for Procreate!
Drawing a Straight Line
Seems simple, right? Well, one thing I have learned since I started using Procreate is that there is always something new to learn. This is a basic feature that can help make your designs more clean cut.
Filling in an Object
I used to use the eraser tool to fill in a shape. This nifty trick will save you time when using the app.
Copying and Pasting
Copying and pasting doesn't seem too complicated... until you can't figure out how to do it. I didn't know how to copy and paste in Procreate until about two months after I started using the app. This feature is super helpful!
Timelapse Replay
I think this is one of the greatest features Procreate included in their app. It is so fun to watch yourself get to the final product.
Color Overlay
This is one of my favorites. It is super easy to do, and gives you design a creative, fun look. Along with overlaying colors on text, you can overlay colors on vector illustrations for a unique look.
